To Live a Peaceful Life, You Have to Let People Be Wrong About You

As you interact with others daily, they will have perceptions and ideas about you and your character, sometimes even ideas about your future. This is largely influenced by their preconceived ideas about certain "types" of individuals, in which you may fit that description.
There's a saying, "first impressions last long", and this is what many base their ideas and perceptions of others on. They merely glance at you and already make conclusions about you and what you are.
But this is exactly what you can use to live a more peaceful life.
Here's how:
When people have big expectations of you, it creates some sort of pressure to live up to those expectations. And often, many find themselves living to impress others so that they are seen in a certain light. And in turn, they lose themselves trying to keep up with society's expectations.
However, whether by fluke or intention, anyone can combat this by allowing others to be wrong about them.
When you have a set goal and plan, it is always better for others not to know where you're headed. Let them have fewer expectations of you as long as their impressions of you are incorrect.
"When no one knows your moves, no one can block them"
Having the ability to let people be wrong about you comes with peace of mind that can let you focus on what you are building with no pressure and too many spectators. Wise and mature individuals understand that ultimately, we all do things for ourselves, not for how others must perceive us.
While you are working on bettering yourself and improving your life, with the wrong ideas and incorrect impressions of who you are and what you stand for, people may underestimate you and perceive you as inane; letting that be will bring you peace.
Then build yourself and make moves as per your desire, not as influenced by others.
Be an underdog intentionally when you know your capabilities of achieving prodigious milestones and devises.
Let others be wrong about you, live your life in peace and curate it the way you see fit.
